/n CBOR Signs a Multi-Year Renewal for CPIX.net with Catylist
/n
/n December 21, 2010 The Commercial Board of REALTORS® Michigan has signed a new multi-year agreement with Catylist, Inc. to continue its statewide commercial information exchange, www.CPIX.net.
/n
/n CPIX was launched in 2002 and has become the primary resource throughout the state for all commercial real estate industry professionals including brokers and economic development organizations.
/n
/n CPIX currently holds over 37,000 commercial property listings and within the month will be importing hundreds of thousands of newly acquired building records (tax data) and sales comparables – including five (5) years worth of transaction history. Recent upgrades to the site include powerful new map-based (GIS) searching, complete with data overlays for local rail lines, airports, hospitals, colleges, traffic flow as well as demographic data like population density, household income and education level.
/n
/n In April, CBOR renewed a three-year agreement with the MEDC (Michigan Economic Development Corporation) to provide the CPIX statewide search engine on the state’s website: http://ref.michigan.org/medc/services/sitedevelopment/site.asp. CPIX also provides local search engine solutions for Oakland County, Wayne County, Monroe County, Genesee County (Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce), Washtenaw County (Ann Arbor SPARK), LEAP, Inc. (Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties), City of Detroit, City of Fenton, City of Sterling Heights, City of East Lansing, and City of Novi.
/n
/n "The recent agreements between CBOR, the MEDC and Catylist strengthen the power of CPIX as an information exchange to assist buyers, sellers, developers, and economic development corporations facilitate transactions in a challenged commercial real estate market in the State of Michigan" says CBOR’s 2010 President, Matt Farrell.
/n
/n CBOR is the statewide association of REALTORS® that provides benefits to commercial brokers and all industry related professionals. CPIX.net is just one of the many benefits offered through the association. CBOR also provides state required continuing education, networking opportunities, ethics compliance, political advocacy and personal benefits such as discounts on insurance, car rentals, and computer purchases.
