The current impacts associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated lockdowns and safety measures have changed the look of environmental due diligence. Despite the existing obstacles, there are many great opportunities. It is important to keep up with the latest regulatory changes and complete the necessary investigations and documentation to protect real estate assets. This course will cover; changes in the due diligence process due to the pandemic, how to access funds from the Michigan Underground Storage Tank Authority (MUSTA), the implications of the new the EPA drinking water standards for PFAs, and the story of the Wixom Lake Dam collapse.
