Construction Underway for New Employer’s Mutual Casualty Company 18,968 SF Build-to-Suit Office Building, East Lansing

Okemos, MI – Jeff Shapiro, Principal with NAI Mid-Michigan/TMN Commercial, is pleased to announce that construction is underway for the new 18,968 square-foot build-to-suit building for Employer’s Mutual Casualty Company. The new office building is being constructed by TMN Builders, Inc. at 1560 Earl Avenue in East Lansing’s northern tier. Employer’s Mutual Casualty Company will occupy the custom designed building on a long-term lease bringing 100 employees to the new location including 50 new hires.

/nDuring two-years of planning, Shapiro structured a deal that would lead EMC to this new build opportunity and location. Shapiro has delivered new construction projects for companies in the Lansing area for over 40 years. “The process of assembling this development package was complex to say the least, but with the help of some really great people at EMC it all came together nicely,” stated Shapiro. The building is a Craftsman style design with the use of brick, stone and unique architectural features that will enhance the wooded setting. EMC’s custom interior finishes will make the building one of the finest in the area.
