The property is home to Red Hots, the longest-running Coney Island (100 years) restaurant in Detroit. The property was purchased by Jim Green, entrepreneur, real estate investor and CEO of Milford Manufacturing in Detroit. Mr. Green’s entity, Green Growth LLC, plans to renovate the property; the renovations will help improve the stretch of Woodward between Ferndale and the New Center Area.
